Allianz Policyholders

Petplan policies were previously underwritten by Allianz Australia Insurance. In April 2017 MS Amlin became Petplan's new underwriter.

Despite Allianz leaving the pet insurance market, they still honour selected Covered For Life policies of Petplan customers. 

This page contains information specifically related to policyholders with a Petplan policy underwritten by Allianz. 

Please refer to your certificate of insurance if you are unsure of who your policy is underwritten by.

Complaints Procedure

This procedure outlines the steps taken to resolve complaints, specifically for Allianz policyholders.

What can you do if you are not happy with the outcome of your claim?

If you have any concerns about our products or services, or wish to dispute the outcome of a claim, we will do our best to work with you to resolve it.

If you are not satisfied, you can request the complaint be referred to The Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) team for review:

Step 3:
If a decision is not made within 45 days of your complaint or you are not satisfied with our decision, you may take your complaint to the relevant independent External Dispute Resolution Scheme.
