Dogs Feel Grief Like Humans

Recent research studying the emotional capacity of dogs has shed some interesting light onto how our furry friends really feel. According to some brain-imaging studies, when humans feel grief, it’s the primitive parts of the brain that are activated so it's no surprise that dogs - and other animals - have the capacity to feel sad.
