Petplan Veterinary Awards 2017 are coming!

Petplan Australia holds Veterinary Awards for the second year to celebrate the 10th annual Vet Nurse Day in Australia

To celebrate the amazing work of all Vet Professionals, Petplan is extending the awards to three categories in 2017 - Vet Nurse of the Year, Vet of the Year, and Vet Practice of the Year.

Vet Nurse Day was created by the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia (VNCA) to raise awareness of the importance of veterinary nurses to both the public and to the veterinary industry. Petplan are strong believers in supporting the hard work of vet nurses and vet professionals, and have created an initiative to help celebrate them. The awards showcase the contributions and support that they give to their team and veterinary community, innovation, initiative and going above and beyond the normal duties.

Entries for the awards are open from July 10 on the Petplan Australia website, with a public vote to decide the winners, which will be announced on Vet Nurse Day – Friday, October 13. Winners will receive recognition from their peers as being the best in their field, and there are some great prizes up for grabs. Royal Canin have also jumped on board this year as supporters of the awards.
