According to the Australian Customs Website the following dog breeds are banned from import and/or considered ‘dangerous’:
- dogo Argentino;
- fila Brasileiro;
- Japanese tosa;
- American pit bull terrier or pit bull terrier;
- Perro de Presa Canario or Presa Canario.
